We offer different classes to satisfy a variety of needs. All classes are American Heart Association authorized. Whether you are nursing student, coach, dental employee, motorcycle trainer, personal trainer, daycare employee, foster parent, or just a concerned citizen wanting to help, we have the certification for you. Here is a quick description of our offerings:

AHA Heartsaver CPR/AED course is for individuals who need an American Heart Association CPR/AED card due to a work requirement. This class teaches CPR for adults, children, and infants, as well as choking emergencies, and AED use. American Heart Association cards are issued at the end of the class and are valid for 2 years. Real-world scenarios are presented and there is plenty of time for questions and discussion to make sure that all participants leave the class with a thorough knowledge of how to perform the skills. Skills are assessed but this class does not have a written test. The class lasts approximately 2 hours.

AHA BLS (basic life support) for Healthcare Providers is for individuals who work in, or are preparing to work in the healthcare field. It's a little more in-depth than the Heartsaver CPR/AED class, to include using a bag mask, and 2 rescuer scenarios. This class includes a skills assessment as well as a written test at the end of the class. The class lasts approximately 2 hours.

AHA Friends and Family is for individuals or groups that would like to learn CPR skills, but don't need a card for employment purposes. This is a great option for families with small children, babysitters, neighborhood groups and Moms groups. The rate is significantly discounted from the Heartsaver class. Call for a quote today!

AHA First Aid is usually added on one of the classes above, when needed. In this class you will learn how to recognize and treat a wide range of emergency situations including bleeding, allergic reactions, use of an epinephrine pen, poisoning, bites/stings, splinting, and much more. This class takes approximate 2-1/2 hours (over and above the time required for the CPR/AED/BLS class)
